Flinders Range Wattle Still Life "WIP" four

I had a chance today to do a bit of work on the vase though not as much as I would have liked. The vase isn’t finished but quite happy with the direction it is going.

I like your pastels very much!
A great richness of colors, and very expressive too.
I'm looking forward to seeing this wip development. It is interesting to see how you work some zones in quite a high level of detail, and leave other zones untouched for the time being.

Its odd I never question why I paint the way I do but know it is different to how some artist work.

It seems to depend on what situation I am in how my work develops. I work in a different way Plein Air as I know I need to develop my work evenly as the values can change so quickly.
