It was never my intention to post a work in progress graphite drawing because I am not a confident drawer in the first place. Sketching roses are right down the bottom of the list with what I consider I am reasonable at executing. For some reason it is difficult to judge one line direction and length against another and because of this avoid them. My intentions is to change that over the next coming months so expect to see quite a few rose sketches posted on my blog.Getting back to why a WIP; simply it is a life size sketch that I started today and I ran out of time to complete it amongst many other jobs that were on the agenda.
